ART TEACHER TRAINING

Westside Studio Art Teacher Training is designed to assist classroom teachers and art specialists to guide students in the discovery of their unique artistic voices. Participants learn to instruct children at every grade level to develop skills in a variety of fine art media as well as how to encourage their students to think critically about the methods and concepts behind their work.

Spring Training Dates

Week One
  • March 23, 2012 – 7-10pm
  • March 24, 2012 – 10am-5pm
  • March 25, 2012 – 12-6pm
Week Two
  • April 20, 2012 – 7-10pm
  • April 21, 2012 – 10am-5pm
  • April 22, 2012 – 12-6pm 

Additional 2-3 hours

Each student may schedule a time to visit and assist or teach at a YAWS class. 

Course Tuition:

Tuition is $850 for a 34-hour immersion workshop. Tuition reduction through sliding scale is available.
