Art stores can be overwhelming places for those parents who haven't made art since grade school. Below are three fine art kits that provide everything your young artist needs to have enjoy the beauty of superior materials, the challenge of interesting project ideas, and the satisfaction creating dynamic art pieces!

Pieced Together Portrait

Your children will construct a vibrant portrait that sets the stage for creative surprises and unharnesses the power of color. This kit comes with colored pencils and a colored pencil stick, chalk pastel, colored, heavy weight paper, adhesive and complete instructions. Parents can assist younger children, while older kids can follow along on their own. Appropriate for ages 5 and older - (many adults I know have had a great time with this project!) $20 for each kit, plus $4 for shipping.
